Thank you also for the 1880 census reference, unfortunatley, Mary Ann died in 1858 in VA. Josiah's burial is a bit of a mystery. They could have buried him in KY on the way back to VA, or he may have been buried in MO near the Missouri River which has apparently flooded with regularity over the years thus taking some graves with it. I understand there are quite a few missing gravesites along the river, is this true? Thanks for your help. Dan
