There was nothing on your names but much on the Rees name. Checking Ancestry, I don't see them, or any other Rees for that matter, listed in the index for Platte from 1830-1870. I did see in the 1850 Platte census book, Amos Reese, probably a common error with your name. Even under that spelling, I did not find your names. There is some additional info on a WIlliam Rees who married Amanda Page in Platte. States his ancestors were of Welsh origin and immigrated to VA. Has info on his children but again, no Martin.
