Sorry about that! I do see that Emily Ann Kinnamon is buried at Woodlawn Cemetery in Independence, Jackson Co. Mo., which is not that far away. In fact, my John Kinnamon lived in Harlem, Mo., which abuts Independence, and one of his grand daughters lives in Independence right now.

John is buried at Farley Cemetery, Platte Co., Mo. The cemetery listing shows that the Kinnamons to whom you refer, Emily Ann Kinnamon and Myrtle May Kinnamon, are also buried in this (small) cemetery. This can't be a coincidence! If your dad had said their brother was John, instead of Don, I think we would have a pretty could lock on this. Any chance you can identify Don's wife? Have you found George on a census anywhere, or do you have birth/death dates for him?

Go to: > http://www.ancestry.com/subscribe/subscribetrial1y.asp?sourcecode=F11HB Hello. What type of info are you looking for. It seems like this name was discussed in great length a year or so ago on the old rootsweb boards. Taking a quick look, it appears your James died in Jan. of 1873 and that he lived near Farley. I wonder if your Mary A. was married twice as Paxton (Annals of Platte COunty) have her being married to a Thomas Shannon. Paxton referred to Johns wife as Bettie Shannon. I am sure there is a way to look at the old post but don't have the time to look at the moment. If you need me to I will check later or maybe someone on the list smarter than me will guide you. I have been somewhat inactive here since the commercialization of rootsweb. Chuck McCardie -- The older I get, the better I was!

I'm assuming the same for his wife MARY EVERSOLE. She is shown in the 1870 census as NANCY, so her headstone could show one or the other or both. She died sometime after 1900. Any help would be greatly appreciated
