I understand there is a Norvell cemetery on private land in Pike County, Missouri. Does anyone out there know where it is and has anyone visited it???? I am still looking for the burial site of Benjamin Norvell. He died while in federal prison held by the North for his southern views. This man was born and raised in Virginia....no wonder he had southern views. Where would the closest federal prison in 1863 had been to Pike County?
