As I wrote you privately, I do have Pritchett information--Elder John M. Johnson's (my ancestor) daughter, Martha Owen Johnson, married William Pritchett, son of Gabriel. They had 10 children. I do not have details on all their grandchildren, One, Ollie (Mollie) married W. J. Hetzler the 2nd time and his daughter by a previous marriage was Jane Froman. I would assume there is a file on John M. Johnson at the Genealogical Society's library that might give more detail, and I know Mrs. Unsell had much information. I have not looked on the Internet. I do have Martha Owen's picture. I have no information on Doyles. To all Johnson & Pritchett descendants: I have been interested in John M. Johnson ever since I learned that my ggAunt Jane Marie Lucas White had given up her right to execute the estate of her father Solomon LUCAS to John M. Johnson in Ralls Co. MO. Solomon left a son about 13 who moved to Pike Co. Mo where he remained the remainder of his wife. John M. Johnson performed his marriage in 1855 and also that of his sister Jane Marie LUCAS White to John Lewellen, Sr. I can't help but believe that John M. Johnson helped the young lad, Samuel 'Parker' LUCAS after his father died. Possibly help work the Johnson farm as most of John's sons were born later. I'm sending a long what I have gathered on John M. Johnson along with a list of 14 of his 15 children [according to a History of Northeast Missouri] I hope this will help some of his Johnson & Pritchett descendants. I'm only sending 2 generations. Some of the Pritchetts come down a little further, but the book was published in 1913 & doesn't include Sharon's Arley Pritchett but does mention Sidney Pritchett who might be Arley's father. His family needs made industry on his part most necessary, and while he toiled in the field or elsewhere he carried a book about with him that he might enjoy his rest time in study of practical lesson or in the preparation of his coming Sunday sermon. He came to manhood with but little knowledge of books and literally made himself as a result of the experiences he passed through. He was a mountain of energy and a splendid example of honorable ambition. He planned a successful career in breeding blooded cattle and was one of the first importers of Shorthorns in this section of the country. In this industry he made a name which reached out into the country.
