    1. [MOPIKE-L] Cemetery Location, Ashley Township
    2. I am intending to visit the Haught/Henton Cemetery in Ashley Township next month, and need a little information. First of all, I'd like to have driving directions. Also, I would like to know if it is fairly close to a roadway and if I will need hiking shoes? I am also intending to go to the Smyrna Cemetery in Hartford Township. Can anyone tell me how many miles south of Bowling Green to this area? Thanks for any assistance, Dean

    3. Hi, Dean--haven't talked to you for some time. Still trying to trace more of my Jeremiah Vannoy/Jane Moss Vannoy family. Can't find Jane's burial place--if you see a Jane Vannoy anywhere, let me know! People on the MOPIKE list have checked Pike County listings, but no luck. Have found a living third cousin not far from me who had some good information. Jeremiah's death and burial are also a mystery. Have located all 6 of his daughters after coming to Oregon and am working to follow up on some of them hoping to find Jeremiah's death. Good luck on your trip! Note new e mail address. We have over a year of forwarding service, so I still get mail on the qwest.net address. 3. Good morning. I have a few Vannoy in my family line. Come to me with some names and let me see what I can locate. I even have a few Vannoy pictures of those connected to my line. I am originally from Bowling Green, Pike County, MO (now living in TN). Additionally, I have a few publications on Pike County, so if there is someone you are researching, let me know and I try and help. Sincerely, Tom W. Sisson.
