    3. J's Hendrick in Pike County is Elijah Hendrick of the Revolutionary War. He married Anne Harrison and they are both buried in Bowling Green Missouri. I am going to BG tomorrow for income tax as I live in the neighboring county. BUT my husband is extremely ill so cannot do research there. Ours were related to the Jones family and the Maidens. Our surname is Renner and they were in that area around AShley--there are many cemetery books on Pike--there is a Pike Genealogical Society that does answer queries. I belong but do not go to their meetings. There is another line of Hendricks- in Pike County that I have not been able to connect to--I know someone who knows someone who is researching or has tried to research that line, but off the cuff am not sure of the names. I could look deeper here at home. 3. Hi Helen, Thanks for the response.. I don't believe that your husband's line and mine are from the same branch as it looks now. There is a Ball Family History http://home.earthlink.net/~jmoule/ball/wc_idx/idx022.html that has my line on it. However, it might have some names that ring a bell for you. If it is convenient and you happen to talk to your researcher friend, I would appreciate it if you remember me and my Hendricks.)they came to Mo from Md and then KY. I have copies of the 3 volume 1984 DAR Patriot Index and found Elijah Hendrick as a proven patriot. If you have any lookups in these volumes that you would like me to check, I will be happy to do so. My husband's Wells line is from Ashley and most of his family are from there and the New Hartford area. I am from Hannibal, Marion Co MO as my mother and her mother's family were, although my Dad and his mother were born near Louisiana MO. You mentioned living in an adjoining area to Bowling Green. Where is that? I belong to the Bowling Green Chapter of the DAR and have been since we were living in Pike CO in 1991. Small world huh?
