There is a Henry Guiley in Pike on the 1840 census. Guiley, Henry Males- 0120001 Female- 000001 If you aren't familiar with the 1840 census, you can get a free look at the form from rootsweb or ancestry.com. Only HOH was listed unitl the 1850 census. The numbers represent age groups. In this family it would be a male in his 40's and female in her 30's with probably 3 sons. 1 age between 5-10 and 2 age 10-15. On the 1870 census, there is a George and Jerry Guiley. Both in Pike County, 2 W. Louisiana Township. I do not access to the actual census for that year. In 1860, there is a John Guily, (note the spelling) and a Olen B. Guily. Both are in Pike County, Buffalo Township. Hope something here helps.
