Hi......Im new to the group and still reasonably new to geneology. I joined this group in hopes of maybe making some connections or finding further information reguarding my family. I was adopted as a baby so alot of my geneology has been like looking for needles in haystacks and im soon to believe that perhaps this particular side of the family tree was used for fire wood........however.......im in search of my grandmother and her family. (great grandparents) James Lewis Eveland & Dora Mccoy b: unknown b: unknown d: unknown b: 1893 buried: Silex Cem. Lincoln, co MO buried: West Plains White Church Howell Co, MO (grandmother) was prodominately raised in Pike Co Mary Electa Eveland (often went by the name of Molly).....was born March 9, 1891 and passed away Dec. 15, 1987. Notes have it that she is buried in Louisiana Mo......Pike County Bowling Green. She was only 2 when her mother Dora passed on. Molly married Samuel Gillette Sr. on June 5, 1909. Does anyone maybe have some knowledge or information reguarding this family? or least maybe some words of encouragement so as not to give up. Thanks for reading : ) Karen
