I have just gotten confirmation on my gggrandmother's family. Her name was Martha Marie Price. Her parents were Bird and Sally Price. Their children were Elizabeth married Davis; Sallie Ann married Vaughn; Eliza married Davis; Martha Marie married Netherland; Margaret married Middleton; Mary; Chloe; John Dudley Price. Does anyone have any information on this family? They came to Pike county, Missouri, before 1840 from Kentucky. The only Bird Price I've heard of was a female. This Price family went from KY to MO about 1851.. perhaps earlier. I have nothing on what happened to this Birdie after this census record. 1880 Lincoln Co. I have a biographical Sketch abstracted from: "The History of Northeast MO" on James Middleton which states James father John married Margaret Price, daughter of Bird Price, born and reared in Ky..John died in 1905. Julie Connet
