Trying to locate any of the GUILEY and SHERMAN/SCHURMAN FAMILY. They were in Pike county in the 1800s, towns of Louisiana and Bowling Green Mo that I have information on. Am trying to find the birth and death dates of my GG grandfather John Davis Guiley born 1827-1829 that married Mary Jane Schurman/Sherman on 2 July 1848.Married by George Smith minister of the Gospel in the Methodist Episcopal Church South.== Mary J was born 14 May 1828 in Mo. and died 15 Jun 1922 in Bowling Green Mo. They had at least 4 children Sarah Ellen b abt.1851==Edwin Homer born 23 Aug 1853 in Mo. died 28 Sep 1928 in Jackson co. Mo.(my G grandfather) Laura Emma b abt 1854==Olin Bascom b abt 1858 in Mo and died 17 Dec 1919.==Have tried to find parents and siblings of John D and Mary J with no Luck. Any help would be appreiciated. Have heard earlier Guileys came from Va or WV. Culpepper co and Jefferson Co. Some were in Pa before going to Va or WV or both. Dee
