    3. Janis, how nice of you! Do you have any idea if there was a community called Pleasant Hill there? I am hoping to find members of the Stevens family--if there are too many to list, maybe you can just tell me if there are Any. As well, do you show any surname of Brooks? My husband's grandmother Edith Brooks Stevens was born in Pleasant Hill MO, and I have found one in CAss county, one in Dent., now I wonder if there was one in Pike County. We figure there must have been some family there. And no one ever thought to ask her where the name Brooks came from - so I suspect a family connection there. Any light you can shed is much appreciated! 3. Oops... forgot to answer your first question Ha Ha... My brain isn't with it tonite. No, I have no idea about any community named Pleasant Hill. I've only been to Pike county once and don't remember too many of the communities. Most all of my Oliver family is from there but My mom's dad left there in the late "teens" about 1916 or so. Happy hunting.
