I remember an old man named Mr. Pritchett that lived behind my grandparents in Frankford. I only saw him a few times when visiting my grandparents in Frankford back in the 60's Dan
Just beginning my search for info on my grandfather, Arley Pritchett, born June 26, 1900 in Frankford, Missouri, son of Ed D. and Vadie (Doyle) Pritchett. He had one sister, Mae (or May) who married a Jones. He married my grandmother, Amy Epperson, on May 30, 1930 in Frankford. I am having the hardest time getting anything about these Pritchetts of Frankford. Any help appreciated. Sharon Watts Urban

Does anyone know who the people in the rural areas sent their film too, to have it developed in the time period of 1945-1955? I have a photo I am trying to track down the place it was taken as it was sent to LaCrosse WI to be developed. Thanks for any help. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Linda, I received a copy of your e-mail to Dean. I know from the Pike Co History Book that Jane Vannoy was a member of the Christian Church at New Harmony, Mo. Has this cemetery been checked. If not let me know and I will try to get there this summer. It is not far from where my Mother lives. Hi Helen, Thanks for the response.. I don't believe that your husband's line and mine are from the same branch as it looks now. There is a Ball Family History http://home.earthlink.net/~jmoule/ball/wc_idx/idx022.html that has my line on it. However, it might have some names that ring a bell for you. If it is convenient and you happen to talk to your researcher friend, I would appreciate it if you remember me and my Hendricks.)they came to Mo from Md and then KY. I have copies of the 3 volume 1984 DAR Patriot Index and found Elijah Hendrick as a proven patriot. If you have any lookups in these volumes that you would like me to check, I will be happy to do so. My husband's Wells line is from Ashley and most of his family are from there and the New Hartford area. I am from Hannibal, Marion Co MO as my mother and her mother's family were, although my Dad and his mother were born near Louisiana MO. You mentioned living in an adjoining area to Bowling Green. Where is that? I belong to the Bowling Green Chapter of the DAR and have been since we were living in Pike CO in 1991. Small world huh? J's Hendrick in Pike County is Elijah Hendrick of the Revolutionary War. He married Anne Harrison and they are both buried in Bowling Green Missouri. Hi B J thanks for your info about Edwin Guiley in the 1850 census. I believe he is my gg grandfathers brother. I have found some reference to him and Markleys. Also with a Mr. Allen in Ohio. I dont know where John Davis Guiley and wife Mary Jane Schurman/Sherman went after their marriage. Maybe to Ohio or Pa. Possiblely to Ky. I will keep checking. Thanks again.Dee Guiley Reed
Hi Helen My maiden name was Hudson and my paternal Grandmother was a Headrick, Texana Belle, born near Louisisana, MO, daughter of Peter and Martha Henry Headrick. Strange as it may seem, I also have a Hendrick line on my maternal Grandmother's side. Mary Landrum Hendricks, daughter of Daniel (a descendent of Peter, original emigrant to US) and Elizabeth Thrasher Hendrick, married Joseph Conway/Conoway , my 3rd Great Grandparents in Hannibal, Marion Co MO. I have tried to find a connection to the line in Pike Co MO as Daniel Hendricks first located there, before Marion Co MO was formed, but so far have not found it. I notice that you didn't mention Pike Co MO specifically , just MO. From what part of the state are your husbands antecedents? Maybe we have a connection?
