Rick, Do you by any chance have the book, Missouri Pioneers of Pike County ? It has 13 Burbridge references to Thomas, Benjamin, Joseph H. Elizabeth, Robert, Heirs of Benjamin and the marriage of Silas Farber to (widow) Eliz. Burbridge and the marriages of Emily and Louisa (to John as you stated). All this in the 1830's and 20's..
Hi Group, Hope someone can help with a look up, for anything on Thomas Burbridge who died in Pike Co. after 1860. He was b. in VA. I believe he may have had a daughter named, Louisa Burbridge, who married John Brandon, 14, Jan. 1841 Pike Co. MO. Any information on Burbridge would be appreciated. Thank you, Rick Cole
Any Cunninghams or Watsons in the book, Missouri Pioneers of Pike County? Can copies of the book be purchased? Greg Cunningham ----- Original Message ----- From: Leah L. Thanks to Sandra and Steve, I have been able to determine that my LEWIS family is not connected to Elisha P. Lewis. That's the way it goes. Is there anything about Dwyer or Hoag families in the 1883 history? I would be willing to buy it if so. Mar
For those who were interested in purchasing a 1883 History of Pike Co. Mo. there is a down loadable order form located at the following web site: http://www.pastracks.com/pcgs/welcome.htm Take a look at our site while you are there. Hope you enjoy it. Donna
Hi! I am looking for anything on the Dwyer and/or the Hoag famlies from Pike County. My great grandparents were William Thomas Dwyer and Clara Bell Hoag, who married in Bowling Green Aug 6 1898. I found them on the 1900 Census in Calumet, Mo. I do have a bit more information on them and their families and am quite eager to share. Thanks!! Mariann
The Sam Lewis should read Samuel Lewis! I'm sorry I did get the Johnston and Johnson mixed up. It should be Johnson State of Missouri County of Pike This is to certify that I the undersigned did on the 2nd day of November 1878 in the county and state afore said Solamize (there spelling not Mine) the rights of matrimony between Marquies Lewis and Miss Annie Johnson. given under my hand this 30th day of December A.D. 1878. Lawson David Baptist Minister filed for record Jan. 8th 1879 Robert M. Unsell recorder. I come in from the Hagood side. I happen to have the information and decided to see if I could help Gloria any. Seems like I'm kin to about half of Pike County in one way or the other. Mostly around Hartford Twp. and some of Ashley.
