    3. The Madisonville Cemetery is located on the old Randolph Schultz farm. (the old Madisonville Road) approx 5 miles south of Center. Last time I was there it was pretty well obscured with weeds (approx 12 yrs ago). I have a great great gfather supposed to be buried there, but we found no marker. There were a number of stones still in the cemetery at that time tho. Not sure who owns that farm now. ----- Original Message ----- From: <LRiemer894@aol.com> To: <MOPIKE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, July 15, 2002 4:42 AM Subject: Re: [MOPIKE-L] Lookups > I have been to Hayes Creek Cemetery. 2. I have been to Hayes Creek Cemetery. It is across the street from a small white church in Ralls County. I only have two pages of the cemetery listing. The library in Center should have a copy of the listing. The Madisonville cemetery is an almost forgotten cemetery in the middle of farm lands. One has to walk through a couple of cow pastures to get there. The last time I was in Ralls County at the cemeteries was in 2000 Lorrie

    3. Hello Janice, I have nothing to go on, but thought if you could, while searching for others ancestors, If you happen to come across a grave site anywhere in Pike County, Mo. with a William Chase , you would contact me. My Chase, Harrison famly came from Canada between 1865 and 1874. They setteled in and around Brookfield, Mo. Many are burried At Rosehill cmetery there. William Chase is my Gr. Grandfather. He is not burried there with Gr. Grandmother, Margaret Ann Chase, and the state of Mo. Has no record of his death, so he died before 1910. I only know that Great Grandmother, Margaret Chase died in 1910 and a copy of her death certificate says she was a widow. I can not fnd out when William died or where he is burried. They had a son John Chase, born in Brookfield, Mo. in 1874, so I am assuming he was still alive then. I just thought he could be burried in one of the Pike County cemeterys. Any help appreciated. Thank you, Georgia (Chase) Golian

    3. The Hays Creek Christian Church is located in Ralls County. It was still in operation in the 1980's. Don't know if it still is or not. It is in the Madisonville (Mo) area. There is another local church in the vicinity , Adiel Baptist. Not sure about cemeteries, but I believe there is one at Hays Creek (on the primary country road between Center and Vandalia. There is a reference to the Hayes Creek Church in the Ralls County Missouri book by Goldena Howard.
