Obituary - Sedalia Democrat, 15 April 1935 Jasper M. DeWitt Jasper M. DeWitt, 80 years old, passed away at the home of Mrs. Douglas Price near Beaman early Sunday morning. He had been ill for some time. Surviving him is one son, Bert M. DeWitt of St. Louis, who arrived late Sunday. His wife passed away many years ago, as did a son, Carl, and a daughter, Gertrude. The body is at the McLaughlin Funeral Chapel and will remain there until 12:30 o'clock Tuesday when it will be taken to the Lamine Baptist Church, where services are to be held at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Burial will be in Potter Cemetery. Complete arrangements have not been made.
