Mr. Wheeler, Mr. James H. Thompson, Assistant Cashier of the First National Bank of this city, and Miss Sallie Sneed, second daughter of Judge John M. Sneed. This office was the recipient, last night, of a bountiful supply of wine and cake, for which we return thanks. Another knot in the silken chain of matrimony has bound together two lives that have merged with sacred and indivisible unity - a unity to which the handmaids of fair Future, will bring her richest gifts and a wind that shall rift the dark clouds of adversity with the bright sunburst of mutual affection. In the golden strands that bind Time to Eternity, in which their destiny is interwoven, may each gleaming thread be ever bright, and each unfolding day from the revolving coil of life bear to them but treasures and rare joys. In their union may they find the realization of their fondest hopes, and may the budding flowers now strewn around them in their marriage spring, give place to autumnal fruit that shall brighten the winter of old age. May peace and happiness be the constant guest of their hearthstove, on which may blaze the bright fires of affection in long and happy years to come.
