McIntosh, passed from the sorrows of earth to the joy of Heaven, on the evening of October 8th, aged 7 months and 28 days. My little pet had just come to know me well, and at eve to greet me with his tiny laugh, but, alas! sickness seized upon his mortal part and all that human aid or medical skill could do was of no avail, death entered and there was no defense, his unerring shafts laid low the idol of the household.
