My Flesher information is very limited. I think Amanda's mother's name was Rowena. Amanda was illegitimate, and Rowena moved with she and Nathaniel Henderson to Pettis County. I don't know much else about the family. They did come from West VA. though, so there very well could be a connection. A cousin of mine did find where Amanda had been claimed in the census by either her brother or uncle. I don't fully remember now, but it was one or the other.
