Margaret Theresa Callahan (Callaghan) was born December 15, 1862 to James and Mary (Moriarty) Callahan. I have two concerns with which I would be most appreciative of any assistance. 1. Were births registered in Missouri in 1862? Would a birth certificate be available? 2. Does this family appear on any census in Sedalia? (Did Pettis County exist at this time?)
