Obituary - Sedalia Democrat, 19 May 1930 Mrs. Sarah Ann Gehringer Mrs. Sarah Ann Gehringer, of 2309 South Kentucky Avenue, died at noon Sunday at her home. She was born August 13, 1857, and was married to Mr. Calvin Gehringer on January 8, 1877. He died about ten years ago. Mrs. Gehringer was a member of the Lamine Baptist Church and was a woman of high ideals with numerous friends. She is survived by five daughters and five sons as follows: Mrs. Lou Knox, Clifton City; Mrs. Blanche Phillips, McCracken, Kansas; Mrs. Gertrude Potter, Mrs. Ceta Potter and Mrs. Tillie Needy, of Clifton City; "Dud" and Lafe Gehringer, South Dakota; Theodore Gehringer of Columbia; Dewey Warren of 1820 South Warren, Sedalia, and James Gehringer of the home address. Two sisters and a brother also survive her as follows: Mrs. Anna Boatman, McAllister, Okla., and Mrs. Nellie Varney of Oklahoma; Frank DeWitt, Jefferson City. Funeral arrangements have not been perfected pending the arrival of relatives.
