Obituary - Sedalia Democrat, 13 December 1950 John J. Potter Services Funeral services for John J. Potter, 75 years old, who died at the Bothwell Hospital Tuesday morning, will be held at the East Sedalia Baptist Church at 2:00 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Rev. Walter P. Arnold, pastor, will officiate. Members of the Brotherhood of the East Sedalia Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers: A. P. Beazley, J. A. Carver, R. A. Martin, W. E. Hudson, H. L. Ryekman, and L. A. Duff. Mr. Potter was a veteran of the Spanish-American War and Post 16 of the American Legion will be in charge of the military services at the grave.
