Obituary - Sedalia (Missouri) Democrat, 22 June 1941 Jabez Hubbard Potter Jabez Hubbard Potter, aged 77, died at 7 o'clock Friday evening at his home, south of Otterville. Mr. Potter was born November 3, 1863 in Pettis County, the youngest son of the late J. H. and Susan Winders Potter. He moved to Morgan County when he was seven years old and had resided there since. He is the last of a family of eight children. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Potter children, Mrs. Farold Clark, Sammy and Joseph Potter, of Otterville, and Miss Ada Potter, Kansas City. Funeral services will be held at the family home at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon, Rev. William Sampson, of Concordia, formerly pastor of the Methodist church in Otterville, to officiate. Pallbearers will be: J. Potter, J. E. Potter, Samuel Potter, J. W. Michaelson, J. H. Gunn, and Frank W. Hayes, the latter of Sedalia. Interment will be in the IOOF Cemetery.
