I'm looking for some local business history information. In the 1930 City of Sedalia census, there is a PAUL WENSCH (wife, Essie, daughter, Marie E, son Paul F.) listed, residing at 1701 E. 4th St. It gave his occupation as Proprietor-Grocery Store. Paul was born in Missouri but his parents were born in Germany. I'm wondering if there may be another spelling to his last name as it was possible he could have had a pretty strong German accent. Could the last name have been Wentz? or something like that. Thanks. Bev.
