Fort Scott National Cemetery Fort Scott, Bourbon County, Kansas P. O. Box 917 Fort Scott, KS 66701 (316) 223-2840 This was the "first" of the 12 original national cemeteries. Soliders during the Civil War, only 13 are Confederate soldiers, the rest Union, plus the Native American Civil War veterans, and the United States Colored Troop (USCT). There is still burial's there and have recently enlarged the cemetery. They have a list on line of all people buried there and area where they are buried.
