Yes I have gone to the state archives and got death certificates. I wil start with William Arnold Died 26 Feb 1908 Smithon, MO. Next Joseph Arnold died 13 Nov 1921. I have his death certificates. Iwas wanting obituaries and was wondering if in Sedalia they have them on microfilm somewhere and where I could look up marriage records. Sharon; The only place I know for Obits are the microfilmed newspapers at Columbia Missouri State Historical Society, Newspaper room on the north hall of the East wing of the Library building on the quad... They require you to look in person or hire a researcher. You may be able to get copies via the boonslick or Public library in Sedalia. If you don't live in Sedalia try your local Library. The library must have a microfilm reader. also Google "old Newspapers" or better yet Google "Sedalia Democrat,February 1908", actually I would do March 1908also,. You might be lucky and the Sedalia Libraries hold copies of the newspapers on microfilm. Phone and find out.
