You didn't say which Arnold. I have an Arnold obituary from my Calvert reseach. Hope it might help. MRS CALVERT DEAD Mrs. Geo. D. Calvert died at her home in this city, Tuesday, Novenber, 29, 1910. Miss Anna Elizabeth Arnold was born in Howard County, MO, August 28, 1838. She was married to G.D. Calvert in 1869. To this union five children were born. One died in infancy, and the four living are as follows: J.A., Elma Pearl and Mrs. T.J.Close, all of this city, and F.V., of Denver, Colorado. Mrs Calvert joined the Christain church in 1854, and remained a faithful Christian until her death. She had been a sufferer for eighteen months, and the last year her suffering was intense, although she bore it patiently and almost without complaining. She was cheerful when friends came to see her, and one would not think she suffered. It is commedable to see a Saint of God when wrapped in the flames of misery, so cheerful, so uncomplaining, and to look upon face smiling with Heaven, when we would least expect it. No one but a christian philosoper can account for it. These lines are very appropriate: 'Her sweet Spirit in her very cheeks Did plainly speak; And so distinctly wrought, That one could say: Her body thought,' The last year of her stormy life closed November 29, when she fell asleep in the arms of Jesus, leaving four brothers: Finis S. Arnold, of ST. Louis; Price Arnold of Ft. Worth, Texas; Tip Arnold, of Sedalia, and Jesse H. Arnold, of Los Angelos, California, a husband and four children, and the whole community to mourn her loss. But thanks be to God, our loss was gain in Paradise. Sister Calvert was not afraid of Death. R.M. McC. (Finis S. Arnold died the week of March 1, 1912, buried in Crown Hill Cem. Sedalia) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sharon Wheeler" <browneyes19727@yahoo.com> To: <MOPETTIS@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, September 21, 2006 10:00 AM Subject: [MOPETTIS] Obituary and marriages > How can I get an obituary and marriage records?
