I'm interested in his children also. The Hustons were in Boone, Henry, and Pettis counties. Thanks, Ken Newton

    2. Bill Hunter
    3. Hi list, I'm hoping someone on the list can help with my GREER family problem Ernest Greer married Cora Belle Hunter at Pettis county in 1898. In 1920 Ernest was deceased, but in the household of Cora was a son, Ernest Greer, born in 1913. Are there cemetery records for Ernest and Cora (Hunter) Greer? Is there anything on their son, Ernest Greer? Their son, Ernest, may be the Roy E. Greer (February 10, 1913-March 1, 1997) according to the SSDI. If there are obituaries in Sedalia for March 2, 1997 it may clear up that question. If anyone on the list is a descendant of this Hunter family I may be able to take your ancestry back many generation and will be happy to help. Any help sincerely appreciated. Bill Hunter

    3. I'm very grateful to the kind soul who has just sent me the marriage date for this couple: C. T. Beach and Addie Anderson were married at Sedalia on 30 May 1881. ----- Original Message ----- From: Anderson To: [email protected] ; [email protected] ; [email protected] ; [email protected] Sent: Thursday, February 05, 2004 2:41 PM Subject: Cydnor Beach & Ada Anderson. Sedalia MO, Washington Co OH .....I have not learned where Ada died. She may be buried near her mother at Mt. Herman Baptist Church Cemetery, north of Sedalia, or possibly she died in Ohio. Would like marriage and death dates for Ada, and wish to make contact with any living descendants. =====================

    1. [MOPETTIS] Cydnor Beach & Ada Anderson. Sedalia MO, Washington Co OH
    2. Anderson
    3. Ada W. Anderson was born around 1858 in Illinois, daughter of Carroll and Julia Ann (Benefiel) Anderson of Union and Jackson Cos IL. In 1880 she was single and in her parents' household at Sedalia, Pettis Co MO. Judging from family records and online information, she married Cydnor Tompkins Beach around 1882 and died by 1898. The census of Barlow Township, Washington Co, Ohio, lists Cydnor Beach, born (24) Sep 1844 in Ohio. In his household are a daughter and son: Della Beach, b Nov 1884 in Missouri, and Rufus Benjamin Beach, b Sep 1888 in Missouri. Their mother was born in Illinois. In 1910 in Barlow Township was listed a Leora E. Beach, age 27 (or born ca 1883), born in MO, father b OH and mother b IL. Presumably at least Della and Rufus were children of Ada. There may have been another child, Emmet, born around 1891. Social Security Death Index shows "R. Beach", born 30 Sep 1888, died Jan 1974, with last payment sent to Fleming, Washington Co OH. This is quite likely Rufus. I have not learned where Ada died. She may be buried near her mother at Mt. Herman Baptist Church Cemetery, north of Sedalia, or possibly she died in Ohio. Would like marriage and death dates for Ada, and wish to make contact with any living descendants. See some of Cydnor Beach's ancestry at http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Garden/9603/page4.html .
