Hello Im hoping maybe someone can help me clear up some info in a letter that my great grandfather is writing to his daughter,In 1918, from Hayti, MO. He talks about a place called Black Island? And he's received an allotment of 50 dollars, but I don't know what it was for or from. He stayed in Hayti from time to time when he got ran out of Indiana for bootlegging.His name was William Titus.
