My grandmother would be thrilled to sit down with you and give you a full history of the Stillmans in Peach Orchard, and I could give you the names of a few other old timers who were here when Peach Orchard was still up at the county line (it didn't move to the current location until the Stillmans came in and built the gin and store). I know that Dunn was named for the family that once owned land there, but I've been told the last Dunn left in the 1940s, and the area has been called Crossroads since. You'd probably want to talk to James Plunkett about Possum Trot. He's also a great source of information on Peach Orchard. Also, my mother has a copy of a Peach Orchard history someone put together for a family reunion (not ours), and my cousin is working on a family history that obviously includes a lot of PO history.
