I am working on my Stone line and the last one of my Great Grandmothers siblings is giving me trouble here it is in a "nut shell" Emily Stone-born 1891 to David Young Stone and his Wife Emeline Emily married William Taylor when I would like to know they had three children Amos Raymond "Clarie" could be Clora found spelling one way in 1920 and one way 1930 then she married Ed Caudle he had been married before to Cora they are reported to have had (Cora and Ed) 8 kids only found one Dorothy Caudle age 10 in 1930 census Pearl is buried by her parents-1918-1923 Ed died 1932 then Emily married Harley Roberts- have nothing on him-birth death family nothing There must have been a divorce Ed died in 1932 but William Taylor was still alive and did not die until 1936 If there is anyone that might have any information I would really appreciate knowing If there are any descendents of any of the "husbands" would like to know Thanking you in advance I have had wonderful help from "Christina" at the Chamber of Commerce THANKS Carol W. Mark L. GERMAN had two daughters. Sarah Jane b: ca 1854 Susan(na) E. b: ca 1857 There were four sons, William B. b: ca Jun 1860 (md. Martha HOPKINS and Malinda BLACK) Robert b: ca 1866 Mark W. b: ca 1869 John b: ca 1874 Both girls show up on the 1860 and 1870 Pemiscot, MO censuses, but I cannot find them thereafter. She was born Dec. 28, 1920, at Deering, Mo., daughter of William M. and Lular Belle Foster Barksdale. She and Charles A. "Charlie" James were married Feb. 19, 1942, in Hayti, Mo. He died Jan. 8, 1995. Mrs. James attended the J.Y. Church of God. Survivors include a son, Charles Michael (Robin) James of Portageville; a daughter, Nelda Darleen (Jack) Kimes of Portageville; a sister, Thelma Treece of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Bill Barksdale of Sikeston, Mo., Herbert Barksdale of Dearborn, Mich.; three grandchildren, Leslie Kimes Hall of Portageville, Missy James (James) Fowler of Portageville, Angela James (Eric) Eftink of Brighton, Tenn.; two stepgrandchildren, Evan and Sara Quick of Portageville; five great-grandchildren, Chelsea Eftink, Michael Fowler, Megan Hall, Aaron Eftink and Alexis Eftink; and her faithful companion, Misty. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Marie Mehner and Nina Phillips; three brothers, Ed, Richard and Horace Barksdale. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville, with the Rev. Wayne Tribble officiating. Burial will be in Portageville Cemetery.
