Author: topperkerby Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.missouri.counties.pemiscot/1748.1.3/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Mary, My responses to your post keep disappearing... I hope the third time is the charm. :-) Thank you for taking the time to search for my great grandmother. I feel a little silly asking this, but would you know if Woodlawn Cemetery and East Woodlawn Cemetery are near each other? I've been able to find a map showing the location of Woodlawn on Find A Grave, but there is no listing for East Woodlawn. I've checked phone and address directories online, but still no exact addresses or any type of contact info. Any details you can provide about these cemeteries will be deeply appreciated. Thank you. I feel a little silly asking this, but do you know if Woodlawn Cemetery and East Woodlawn Cemetery are in close proximity to one another? I haven't even been able to find their physical addresses. I've checked some phone books, but the cemeteries aren't listed. FindAGrave.com has a map showing Woodlawn being off East Cleveland Street, just east of State Highway P. They don't have a listing for East Woodlawn. Maybe I'm just missing something simple... Any info about these cemeteries would be greatly appreciated. FindAGrave.com has a map showing that Woodlawn is off of East Cleveland Street, just east of State Highway P. There's no listing for East Woodlawn. I'm curious if one is just a newer section. We have the Death Certificate and the funeral home faxed us a copy of the obit this morning. As for how we are related...this is not my line, this is my boyfriend's line. Ok here is a brief run down on the line....Tressie's mother is Topie Allen Blackwell Topie's brother Ransom Allen is his great grandfather. This has been a slow process of finding this family. It has taken us at least six years to get the information that we do have on them. Do you know what happened to Tressie's husband after her death? Do you know if there are any photo's of Imogene, Betty or Tressie? Any inofrmation on them would be helpful. We did find out the Imogene passed away in 2004 and have located some of her family.
