I've found a tree online with info on the family..seems to be close family members of "Tan" McCoy. I have family photos that I've gotten copies of in my travels searching for Vannoy family. My husbands grandmother was a sister to Tan McCoy's first wife Bertha Leppard. I would love to share copies of the early McCoy's with this family. The family tree name includes Hudgins and Tan's second wife was a Miller. If you know of anyone with ties to McCoy, Hudgins, Leppard, Miller lines..I would love to hear from you or them. Author: patbuelt Surnames: Schoenbein, Thum, Klinkhardt Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.missouri.counties.pemiscot/1771/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I need some help, please. Through my research on the descendants of my gr-gr-gr-grandfather I am researching a KLINKHARDT family that lived in Pemiscot County from the 1920s on. Joseph Klinkhardt and his wife Anna Frances Thum Klinkhardt moved from Monroe and St. Clair Counties in Illinois to St. Louis and then to Pemiscot County. I have found the death certificate for Joseph Klinkhardt who died in 1934 in Pemiscot County, but not for Anna Francis who probably died in the 1920s. At the time of his death Joseph lived at RFD #2 Caruthursville, MO. He had a number of children, some of whom settled in Pemiscot County- Eliza, Theodore, Emma, George, and Anna. I really want to find Anna Francis Thum Klinkhardt's death date and place and burial site. I have searched and searched. (I did find a wonderful diary written by Theodore Klinkhardt through PERSI, but he did not mention his mother's death.) I would also like to share notes with anyone researching this large family. I have researched some of Anna's family back to the 1600s in Germany. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I'mreally trying to find if Hiram has a tombstone in the cemetery. Like you I noticed his birth date is off on some records. Also I cannot find when his father Jesse Clayton died or where. Or his mother Elizabeth , she may have remarried. Also I did find Hiram in later census living by himself. It was under his middle name of Starling. Would love to find more info on his father but cannot get any farther back. Thanks again ! Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
