    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/EMB.2ACE/185.2 Message Board Post: Hello, I don't know if this will help or further confuse the issue. My father's name was Grady McNabb. He was born in Lake County Tenn. He lived in Missouri during his early years, before moving to California. I believe he had a sister named Lula. I think from conversations that he lived in or near Steele. I beliive that it was a big family, like about 9 brothers and sisters. My father and his brother (Jack) moved to California in about 1942. I also remember an Aunt Zora, but unfortuanately that's about all I know. I did also hear that some of his family moved to Michigan. Sorry thats about all I can tell you. Cliff

    2. Marsha Bryant
    3. Hi Group, Marilyn Leismann sent in some death notices of people that were born as early as the 1870's and died after 1927! Check them out!! Remember, if you'd like your family tree (must include Pemiscot ancestors) posted on the Pemiscot GenWeb with your email address attached, all you have to do is send me the file by email! I usually get information posted in 24 hours or less. Just remember not to include names of people born after 1920. My "Holley" family in "First Families" needs company! Thanks, Marsha & Edward Pemiscot GenWeb http://www.rootsweb.com/~mopemis2/

    3. Good Morning List, Billie Powell is sending in some 1900 census transcriptions! Thanks Billie! Find the links on "What's New" or in the "Census" section of the web. If you have odds & ends of census records, would you consider typing them and sending them to me? Partial listings are better than no listings at all! Just be sure to copy the information at the top of the page, so I'll know where to place them. Anything that you contribute may be the answer to knock down someone else's "brick wall!" 2. Marsha Bryant
    3. Hi Group, Just wanted to let you know that the rosters for the First Missouri Infantry, Companies D & F are posted! Hopefully you'll be able to find your Pemiscot Civil War Soldier listed! If you have information on your Pemiscot ancestors that served in the Civil War, I'd be happy to post the information on the web. Find the links under "What's New" or in the Military section. Also, a few more cemetery listings have been added. If you have listings for your ancestors in a Pemiscot cemetery, please send them in to me. Find those links under the "Cemeteries" section. I hope that my notes to the list announcing what has been added to the web are useful. I want to keep researchers informed on any new additions. I have lots of things planned for the web and want to have "tons" of information for us all to search though! If you would rather I not post new information announcements to the list, please let me know. I certainly don't want to bother people. If you like the notes, please let me know that as well. I'll do what the majority of people want me to do. Happy Hunting & I'll be looking to hear from ya'll, Marsha Bryant Marsha's Pemiscot Web http://us-gen.org/mo/pemiscot

    1. Re: [MOPemiscot] Re: Mathenia
    2. I found a John Mathenia living in St. James, Mississippi, MO in the online 1880 census. Male, W, 26, farmer, single, born in TN. I did not find a Mathenia when I did a search in TN in the online 1880 census. James Mathenia was not listed in the cemetery inscriptions for Dyer County, TN. People frequently moved back and forth across the Mississippi. I will check the Pemiscot County, MO cemetery inscriptions next week at the Archives. Carolyn
