They had 6 children. This family moved to Pemisot Co, Mo in 1920. At some point he was a Justice of the Peace and also known as Judge Bishop. He was a farmer and lived in the Bayou area near Steele, MO. He died in 1947 and she died in 1960 and they are both buried at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele. I am searching for info on his and her family prior to 1892. Any info or connection would be much appreciated.

I am looking for any information regarding William H. GOWAN, born 22 Nov 1863, Tennessee and died 14 Jan 1944, New Madrid County, Missouri. He was married twice. #1 Sarah T. DUNCAN and #2 Tennessee "Dee" DUNCAN. He married Sarah on 9 Feb 1882, Dyer County, Tn. He married Tennessee on 27 Apr 1899, New Madrid County, Mo., I believe. He and Sarah had children, Tommie (female), Eula, Athel, Alice and William Granville GOWAN. He and Tennessee had one daughter, Jessie Mae , born 14 Dec 1902, Pemiscot County, Mo. She married James V. MARION on 2 Dec 1918, New Madrid County, Mo. If anyone on the list has access to the 1900 census or cemetery records for any of the above counties, I would sure appreciate a lookup. Mary

They were married in Pemiscot cty 10/26/1913 and had seven children, only three survived to adulthood. The 1920 and 1930 census showed them at Little Prairie twp and the 1930 census shows Blanche's brother Emmerson at Steele. Blanche died in 1930 and her mother, Dolly(Turner) Smith lived with the family for about seven years. Children were Winnie, Mary (Red), and Walter(Bud). There was also a son, Lloyd, who died at about 19 or so. Winnie married Gerald Cline when she was about 16. Bud may have been married twice, before marrying my mother. The whole family relocated to Albuquerque, NM in the 1950's. I have hit a dead end with this info and would appreciate any leads at all.
