The information helps. I did find James Edward and Angeline Peak Rices' marriage listed - along with some others. The brick wall I really have is from another state, but still all related. James Edwards grandfather was Robert Darnell (Darnall), b. 1818 in (Carroll? Co), TN and his grandmother was Eveline (?) Crockett b. 1823 in TN. All the Powells, all the RIces have the same info I have, which is Eveline Crockett- but we have nothing else. Can't find her line, leads me to believe that Eveline was not her 1st name. Some researchers have confused my Robert Darnell b. 1818 TN with his cousin, Robert C.(Click) Darnell(all) also b. 1818 in TN. That Darnell(all) line moved to Texas and they believe that he m'd. Rachel (Eveline?) Simpson ? Crockett? but my Darnell line got as far as Illinois and then came back home to Mo. (A lot of whom settled back in Poplar Bluff, MO). BUt you have really! helped , I'm excited to get started searching these new leads. Anything I can help you with- let me know, katie

I am wondering if her last name could be Francis. my Uncle name was A C FRANCIS CARTER my grandfather's name was JOHN ANDREW CARTER the son of Daniel and Tabatha. the letters could have stood for ANDY CARTER and maybe Francis was her last name. has anyone ales ever heard that saying and i know that A C was not short for Andrew Carter, but the initials could have been. Sorry Group for the 2nd email! The Family Group Sheet project has all 50 states, not just Alabama! Marsha
Hi Group, there's a new website associated with US GenWeb. It is the Family Group Sheet Project. The address for the main page is: http://www.rootsweb.com/~usfgs/ It's new, so there's not a lot of information there yet. It should be a great resource when it gets going. There is information on how to submit your information on your own ancestors. Please don't submit information on living persons, even if it says "Private". I'm not sure of the cutoff date they will be using, but I use 1920 for my webs. I don't post any information on anyone born after 1920 unless they are deceased. Imagine going to the web and finding your name, your spouse's and your children's names, birthdates, birthplaces and your parent's information as well! Any scam artist would be delighted to get such information! Happy hunting! Marsha Kemper & Neshoba, MS Bibb, AL Warrick, IN Pemiscot, MO
