When we would return to Cottonwood during the summer I couldn't wait to take a ride on the ferry. His name was Raymond Steele he was born in 1916. His parents were John & Maggie Steele. He worked for Carl Baker in the 30's & 40's. I have found memories of Cottonwood. I haven't been to Cottonwood since about 1980. It's fun reading the message boards. A lot of names are familiar from the many stories my Dad told us about.
