    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/EMB.2ACE/637 Message Board Post: Hi, everyone this is to let you know we are having the annual Terpening/Armstrong reunion again this year at the Lincoln Park Pavilion, Lincoln Park in Galesburg, IL, on September 1, 2002. We will meet at 12p~noon~ to have a potluck dinner. Everyone is to bring a covered dish to pass, their own place settings. drink, whatever you want to please your family. There is always coffee, tea, and lemonade. We have ice cream to service with your delicious desert you have brought to share. Pass the word around in case I miss someone. This year will mark our 65th recorded year as having the reunion. This year everyone and anyone who is coming I would like them to bring any old photos, letters, books, anything that we can all share to enjoy and learn about the history of our family. I have made a lot of friends on the Internet and have been in contact with quite a few of them. I have learned some new information concerning our lustrous Petrus (Peter), which I like to call him, Terpening . I am also in the process of making a Warren County, IL, site at American History and Genealogy Project hosted by USGennet. This is in memory of my Terpening Ancestors. I am also in the process of joining Daughters of the American Revolution. I’ve found that Jacob, Petrus his son, and Jacob his brother were all in the American Revolutionary War. Derrick, Jacob's father, was in something before that. Not quite sure at this point what that was. I am really looking forward to this year's reunion; as I hope all of you are. Hope to see many new faces along with allot of the old ones. You may contact me if you have any questions. The above picture is a picture Sam Law of Galesburg, IL, and I found behind another picture. We think it might be Ezekiel Terpening. It is a picture taken of a picture. Notice the way the man is dressed this helps to age the photo. Hope to see you all on September 1, 2002. All my best, Foxie Hagerty These are all under construction and any help you feel you can give would be greatly appreciated. Started July 29, 2002. Surnames: Williamson, Prather, Davis, Lloyd, McIntire, Jones, Biggs, Teague Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/EMB.2ACE/610.2 Message Board Post: Charlotte - I have been searching for evidence of the death/burial of my gg-grandfather, Randolph Williamson. He was born ca. 1836 in Indiana and supposedly died in Covington/Pemiscot Bayou in 1903 and was buried "in the country." I have found absolutely nothing on him in MO. He was married three times. His first wife, Minerva Jane Prather, died in Indiana. His second wife was Mrs. Malissa Davis. His third wife was Anna Lloyd. In addition to my g-grandmother, Louisa Williamson McIntire, who was one of five children from his first marriage and who died in Micola and is buried in Little Prairie Cemetery in Caruthersville, MO, he had several children from his other marriages. The ones that I know of were: Randolph, Sarah, Bertha, Ben and Mathi. Randolph, Jr., was the father of Ocie Williamson and is said to be buried in Denton. Sarah/Sadie married a Jones. Bertha married a Biggs, lived in Denton, and had a son named Ruben. I think Bertha was also married to someone named Carlos Durango. Mathi/Symathia married a Teague and lived in Paragould, AR. That is all I know of the children from my gg-grandfather's subsequent marriages. Do you have any information on Randolph Williamson in those cemetery records you wrote about? Thanks for your help, Carol J. Bowman cbowman@frii.com Born in Cape Girardeau, MO Raised in Sikeston, MO
