Thank you for doing this for me! I had not found them on the 1910 census in OK. Not sure when they went to OK, probably after 1902 because he bought land in Newton Co. AR in the early 1900's. Jasper was married 5 times and each time he married either as Jasper, J.A. A.J. Absalom or Absalom Jasper, never the same name twice. 1st wife Martha Bales in MO, 2nd wife Perlima in ?, 3rd wife Martha Jordan in Newton Co. AR, 4th wife M.E. Spurel Newton Co. AR and 5th wife Olley P Hamons in Newton Co. AR. Jasper would have been 18 or 20 in 1860, and he could be listed with any of the above names. I really appreciate the information. Hi Marie in Texas, Maybe this is the 1860 census of your Archibald Simpson with a house full of boys and Absolum J. No relationships are given in this census. Two of the boy's names were very difficult to read. There may also be other inaccuracies in our efforts to read the handwriting. Barry Co. MO White River twp, P.P. Roarin River 12 June 1860 Archable Simpson 44 KY m. Day Labourer (this spelling is accurate) Martha " 37 KY f. Ienuha? " 11 AR m. Thomas " 10 MO m. Harelen? " 6 MO m. James B. " 4 MO m. Josiah " 2 MO m. Absolum J. Simpson 20 MO m. Farm Labourer Sarah " 28 MO f. We still did not find Absolum Jasper or any combination you gave in the 1900 census in MO, AR or Indian Territory.
