Please tell me about what Dobbs that you are researching. My great grandfather married Sarah Francis Dobbs in Ash Grove, Green county Mo. Her father, I believe was George Washington Dobbs. My grandfather George Thomas Caves was the only living sibling from the union.I assume he had three other siblings that died either in infancy or early childhood( i have no dates or information on) Sarh Francis Dobbs was born In Kentucky died in Brinton, Oklahoma. I Believe Sarah s mothers name was Sarah J Dobbs but she died in 1880 or shortly after. Sarah Francis may have been called Fanny, I speculate that My grandpa George, was named after George W Dobbs, Sarahs father. George W Dobbs married a Elizabeth Gilley after Sarah J Dobbs died. George W Dobbs died in 1923( McCrackin , Christian County Mo) hope someone identifies with the family and can connect with me. I have been wanting to connect with the right Dobbs for along time.
