I see you know quite a lot of the Collins family, I hope you might know of my great great grandmother. Lydia Collins (or possibly Parsons) widow of Leroy Upshaw and later the 3rd wife of William Newton Alsup of Douglas Co. MO. I have been told her maiden name was Collins and then also Parsons. I can't seem to find anyone with proof either way. I would like to find out for sure who her parents were. It might possible be that her mother was a Collins and her dad a Parsons or the other way around. I hope someone can give me the straight of this puzzle.
