Cureall was established on land in Section 16 Township 23 range 10, land orgiinally set aside for the benefit of public school.The plat forthe town of Dixon's Medical Springs was laid out in July 1879 a couple of months after Dr Dixon had finished his homestead obligations on the Hutton Valley.
