Unfortunately, there are few genealogical books available on Ozark County. There is a history of Ozark County which the Ozark County Genealogical & Historical Society did back in the 90's and then later had a reprint done of it. I don't know if they still have copies of it or not. The dues to the organization are quite reasonable: $10/yr. or $100 for a lifetime membership. There was also an Ozark County Cemeteries book done several years ago. I don't think that it is available now. If you would like the address of the OCG&HS, please contact me privately, I shall be happy to be give it to you. There are some people with the society who do genealogical lookups/research for a very reasonable price. I don't think that any of the officers of the society are online, and as far as I know, the society does not have a website. There is a genealogical room in the basement of Ozark County Public Library in Gainesville which has books on various families of Ozark County and on the region in general.
