I went to the Squires store once back in the 80's. It was like a mini Walmart and an old time 5 & 10C store. Everything imaginable. piled high to the ceiling. I had a field day looking at everything. I don't know if it is still like that. I have passed it a lot going to Gainesville to visit family, but never stopped again. I haven't been there, but I do know from people that go every weekend that there is a restaurant there and they have old-time music parties there. I think it may be every weekend.
