    1. [MOOZARK] My Ozark Family
    2. Nancy Boyd
    3. In 1860 on the Ozark Co. Census near Falling Spring there was a Thomas Morris enumerated, also in the household were Sally Morris his wife, John Morris, son, Manda Morris, daughter, and Nancy Morris daughter. Neighbors included the Tabor's which were related to the Morris family. I do not know what happened to Thomas Morris, if he died there in Ozark Co. or the Civil War or what. His son John shows up on the 1870 Webster Co. Census with his wife Martha, two daughters, Mary and Sarah. Also enumerated in the household is a Sarah Conner age 39 (believe this to be his mother) the age closely follows that of his mother named Sally in previous census. Also enumerated is a Nancy Morris age 59 who its believed is his Aunt and wife of his uncle John Morris of Taney County. Two doors away from John Morris was his sister Manda with her husband Joseph Cannefax and their daughter Sarah. Thomas Morris was the son of Thomas and Dora? Morris of Taney County. He lived next door to his parents in 1850. While he did not move the county lines did placing him in Ozark County in 1860. I would like to find what happened to Thomas Morris after 1860, also after the 1870 census there is nothing ever found on the Sarah Conner in the Morris household in Webster Co. Mo. These are my two big brick walls. Sincerely Nancy M. Boyd Help Fight Spam http://members.hostedscripts.com/antispam.html Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. 3. Dear List Members, With so many of you changing e-mail address I figured it was time to send instructions as to how to remove yourself from one address and then subscribe again with the new one. I have over 50 messages asking me to do this for members. If you know in advance that your e-mail address is going to change go to Password Central http://passwordcentral.rootsweb.com/ ask for a list of all the Mailing Lists you are subscribed to. 2. "Ozark County Missouri in 1850" Tom, this is a book that was compiled by Nancie. It is loaded with information. She has done several books, softcover, and they are well worth the money. I have three of her books and find they are excellent reference material. She did live in El Segundo, California but I believe she moved. Nancie probably is a member of Moozark or the Douglas county site. I will search around and see if I can come up with a current email address or mailing address. Pat Alsup Hardman, Modesto, Ca.

    1. [MOOZARK] Lidia Parson
    2. Bev, I checked all of my different records. Lidia was shown as Parsons in all of them. She was a Parsons when she married Leroy Upshaw and everywhere she is mentioned they have Parsons in parenthesis. I have never seen her listed in any of my older papers as Collins but occassional someone will bring up the Collins name. On the 1850 Ozark Census she is listed as 23 from Indiana. In the old books on the Alsups she is always listed as Lidia Alsup (Parsons) or Lidia Upshaw (Parsons). I know this isn't much help, but it is all I can find. Pat Alsup Hardman
