    3. Dear Ronan, I just saw your request for teenage/adult triplets. I guess this is a couple months too late, but just thought I would give it a try. I have 23 year old triplet sons. They live in Roseburg, Oregon. They are 2 identical and 1 fraternal, or maybe 3 identical. They look enough alike to be all identical, if their haircuts are the same. 3. Hi A large source of leads to family-history data is now on line. It is comprised of the Tables of Contents of the first 22 volumes of the Missouri State Genealogical Association Journal, 1981-2002+. Importantly, below the Tables of Contents, is an index. Reviewers find the whole page easily navigated despite the great amount of data included. A few of the key words with which to search the index are county names, directions (east, south, north, west), and family surnames (for Bible records). Use your browsers search function. When you find interesting leads on the web page, you will probably want to see actual copies of the Journal. Many libraries subscribe to the Journal. There is also information, below the index on the web page, on how to obtain copies of articles or issues. One can get an idea as to the length of an article in the Journal by noting the page numbers where it begins and where the following article begins. However, some articles are serialized over two to four issues. The URL is <http://www.rollanet.org/~bdoerr/contents.htm>http://www.rollanet.org/~bdoerr/contents.htm >

    3. Dear Mary, I use Personal Ancestral File 5.2. I like it because it works really well and also you can download it for free from www.familysearch.org. You can also get a free trial version of PAF Companion, which is really good for printing reports from PAF. But to get the best use of it, you must order the full version, which I believe is $13. From it you can make anentafel and descendancy files, which put your information from PAF into a word processor file, which can be easily attached to emails for sharing with others. I use that a lot. I would be happy to help you learn to do this. Even though it is not free, I doubt if I would ever want anything else. I keep current on the latest versions of the program. It is easy to use, includes all the features that I need and want and will create just beautiful genealogy wall charts, and all types of reports and books. I just sent a printout of my genealogy report to a second cousin that I have just recently found and her comment was that it was so complete and professional looking. I only have about 3600 people in the file that I sent her the report on so it isn't tremendously large but the organization of the material is so easy to follow that even with the large numbers that Louise just mentioned, you can easily find and work with the information that you need. I have no financial connection to the company which publishes this software, but I'm a walking advertisement for it. Marsha

    3. Mary: I use the FREE site of MyFamily.com (the family tree section), which when ever you get ready, you then can upload it directly to Rootsweb.com and Ancestry.com, the best genealogy system out there on the web there is, in my opinion and that it is also FREE. I have had many contacts with other family members that I would not have known about, using this system. Also, you can keep your information updated and corrections made, as you like, when the information comes to you. The MyFamily.com people told me that there is no storage limits in the family tree section, but there is in the photo section. 3. The copies at Ozark Co. courthouse cost $1 apiece. That would be QUITE costly to get copies of all of those. They have about 6 or 8 books to copy and they are about 4 inches at least thick...:-)....just thought I'd let you know. The marriage records have been transcribed I think but not copies of the actual license.

    1. [MOOZARK] From List Mom - A few items to help you.
    2. Kathleen Burnett
    3. Dear List Members, If you are interested in knowing about other mailing list out there, one of the very best inventories of genealogical mailing lists is John Fuller’s Genealogy Resources on the Internet located at http://www.rootsweb.com/~jfuller/gen_mail.html If you ever need to unsubscribe from this list or any rootsweb list all you need to do is visit Password Central located at http://passwordcentral.rootsweb.com/ Follow the instructions and you will received an e-mail of all lists you belong to and from it you can unsubscribe from the ones you want to. Always know that I will be more than happy to help you if you are having problems unsubscribing, you only need to ask. Please send this request to KathleenBurnett@earthlink.net not to the entire list. If you would like to visit the archived messages of this list or any other Rootsweb mailing list, go to http://archiver.rootsweb.com/ and type in the name of the list you would like to search and from there you can search by dates. There are a few items I would like to suggest for the benefit of each of us. 1. When sending a posting to the list it would help if you would put the subject of your posting in the subject line. Doing this also might give you a better chance to attract the attention of someone who has the information you are looking for or the attention of someone who is searching for the information you are posting. Many members are on many many lists and when they see a subject line that reads "My Ancestors" they just delete it. 2. When posting a query regarding a surname it would help all of us if you would put your surname in CAPS. This way the members can easily pick out the surnames you are looking for. 3. Please remember to delete the tags and un-needed words when you re-send a message to the list with your answer. If you don't check this, your responses can become quite large and may cause problems with some of our member's servers. This member who might not be able to receive your message because of its size, just might be your long lost second cousin with all the answers you are looking for. 5. Remember to keep your Virus protection up to date and never open any attached file unless you are 100% sure what it is and even then you are taking a chance. 6. Now, the hardest thing is, when one of our own, a fellow member becomes upset about a posting from one of us. It is so hard not to jump in and add our two cents when they send their unhappiness to the entire list. I want you to know how much I appreciate it when you just let these posting go by and delete them. Know that I am behind the scenes taking care of the problem. If you ever have a concern that I might have missed a message that needs addressed you are welcome to contact me during the day at Kathleen.burnett@era.com or in the evenings at KathleenBurnett@earthlink.net. Please remember, so that this list is better for each of us, the posting of virus warnings, test messages, chain letters, political announcements, current events, items for sale, personal messages, flames, etc., in other words Spam is NOT ALLOWED and will be grounds for removal. Consideration for exceptions, contact me at KathleenBurnett@earthlink.net I want to thank each of you for your continued support of me and your willingness to help make this list the success it is. It is your list and is here for your benefit. If you have suggestions or comments you would like in future reports, you only need to send them to me.
