    3. Dear Joey, I have the Ozark County marriages microfilm C5085 from the state archives. It is Book A-D 1858-1902, 1878-1898, 1881-1888 & 1888-1895. It is of very poor quality. That is because the records are inclosed in plastic and when they ? microfilmed them the plastic distorted the process. I will gladly donate, give or ? the film to anyone who will transcribe and freely give and or exchange this info to ALL OF US out their in cyberspace. 3. There is already a topographical map of these towns available (at the time I worked there in 1994 at least) for a very reasonable price thru the Corps of Engineers, Mtn Home, AR as well. You will find it fascinating, however, it is MANY large pages so is difficult to see it as a whole. If I can help further please let me know. I live in Mtn Home and have many, many relatives and ancestors in this area in Marion Co., AR, Baxter Co., AR, Ozark Co., MO and Taney Co., MO. http://www.geocities.com/bias1.geo http://www.geocities.com/hampton2.geo I have been researching for 9 years now and have over 20,000 names (some with mistakes, of course...:-) I have other websites but these two are the main ones for my main family lines of BIAS and HAMPTON. Glad I could help. LOUISE HIL

    1. [MOOZARK] From List Mom - Vacations and Unsubscribing
    2. Kathleen Burnett
    3. Dear List Members, It is that time of year when some of you will be leaving on Vacations. You might want to consider unsubscribing from the list while you are gone and then resubscribing when you return. The easiest way to do this is by using Password Central. http://passwordcentral.rootsweb.com/ Follow the instructions and you will receive a e-mail list of all Rootsweb Mailing Lists you belong to. You can unsubscribe using this e-mail. Save it and you then have a list of mailing lists you want to re-subscribe to. When you return, you can check the Archives for this list at http://archiver.rootsweb.com/ Just type in the name of the list and you can check the messages for the dates you were gone. The following was shared with me and I think it is one of the best Maps I have seen showing the growth and history of the United States. http://www.animatedatlas.com/movie.html I appreciate each of you and know that it is because of you our list is the success it is. 1. [MOOZARK] John Lenning & Mary Jane Stiffler - NEED HELP!
    2. Gina Thomas Patterson
    3. I'm ready to pull my hair over these folks ~ I'm hoping some of you listers in the Missouri counties may have more info for me as the Stiffler family was in Carroll/Boone Co. ARK, then to Christian/Taney Co. MO: Mary Jane Stiffler was born 31 July 1846 in Crooked Creek Twp., Carroll Co. ARK (now Boone Co.) to parents John Bardell Stiffler & Martha Ann Brumbelow. She married 01 January 1867 in Greene Co., Missouri to John Lennings. I'm beginning to wonder if I need to order the original marriage record to see if LENNING is the correct spelling of this last name ~ I haven't gotten anywhere with trying to find this couple after the marriage. Any suggestions? The idea popped into my mind after seeing a thread on the JENNINGS family if maybe John's last name is Lanning or Jenning instead of Lenning. Any help is appreciated. ~gina~ ===== ~gina thomas patterson~ Please visit my home page at www.burningskyenterprises.com, click on "Family Album". Researching families Brumbelow, Carsten, Leitch, Manes, Patterson, Stiffler, Thomas, Tye & more than I have fingers, toes, earrings & nose holes for!

    1. [MOOZARK] Obediah Johnston family
    2. Barney Frothingham
    3. The U.S. Census of 1880 for Richland, Ozark, Missouri, shows my gggrandfather Obediah (Obedien) Johnston, age 57, his wife Florilla (Floreala), age 44, their children William C. age 19, b AR, Nancy A. age 14, b IL, Mary L. age 11, b IL, Phoeba E. age 7, b MO, Louvina C. age 5, b MO, Cintha A. age 10 mo., b MO. The spelling of names of the three last children are suspect. Obediah was born 1823 in KY, migrated to Massac Co. IL abt. 1840, married Nancy Homer in 1841. The last of their four children was born in 1858 and Nancy died sometime after 1860. Obediah married Florilla Williams in Massac Co., IL in 1868. I believe that she was a widow at the time of their marriage and that the two oldest children (William & Nancy) are from her first marriage. I will deeply appreciate any information on this family and most certainly would like to establish contact with any descendant. Thanks Barney Frothingham
