Thanks to ever one who posted on the list, at least we are active again, I will get back with everyone in a few day, my grandson is getting married Saturday so we are all busy for the next few days. I have a lot of information on the Mefford family, having problems with the Satterfield family it is my brick wall. We go to Ozark County twice a year to keep the Satterfield Cemetery up most of my other family is buried in the Isabella Cemetery. Caleb Mefford was the firs Mefford to move to Ozark County he built the old log house (still standing) on the Old Mefford farm, he was my gg grandfather his daughter Emily married John Satterfield. There is deed transation between a Jesse Turner & a Floyd Cox in 1868 Deed Book H page 18 ,Ozark Co ,Mo & also in 1860 between Jesse Turner and the County , Deed book A page 143.
