Obituary - mid-Missouri newspaper, 1979: "Louis A. Baclesse, age 85, of Mint Hill, Mo., died at his general store Saturday, Aug. 25, 1979. He is survived by one brother, Juffrie Baclesse of Linn and three sisters, Mrs. Anna Matthews, Mrs. Jesse Malan, and Mrs. Jess Weiher, all of Linn. Visitation was at the Morton Chapel and funeral services were held on Tuesday with Brother John Lyon officiating. Military rites were conducted at the graveside in St. Isodore Cemetery near Linn by the Chamois Post of the American Legion of which he had been a member for many years."
