Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper, 1973: STEPHEN LUEBBERT, 94, DIES AT LINN MANOR - Stephen Luebbert, 94, Linn, died Wednesday, April 25, 1973 at Linn Manor Rest Home. Mr. Luebbert was born April 10, 1879 in Westphalia, the son of Bernard and Barbara Lueckenhoff Luebbert. He was married Jan. 26, 1904 in Westphalia to Christine Schanzmeyer who preceded him in death. Survivors include; three sons - Raymond Luebbert of Jefferson City, Henry Luebbert of Jefferson City and Francis "Fritz" Luebbert of Meta; four daughters, Mrs. Florence Fisher and Mrs. Marie Bacon of Jefferson City; Mrs. Dorothy Donehue of Enid, Oklahoma and Mrs. Clara Lock of Jefferson City; 25 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Services were held at 10 am Friday at Immaculate Conception Church with the Rev. Louis Dorn officiating. Burial was in St. Cecelia Cemetery, Meta.
